It has been AGES since halibut was caught in Bare Hill and the Bolton Flats’ shrimp supply diminished 5 years ago, so thank goodness for Globe Fish! From sassy Halloween costumes to 4+ cups of coffee each Sunday, the lovely ladies of Globe Fish have been bringing humor, class, and delicious seafood to the market for almost 4 years! The ladies provide each and every customer with all the information about the seafood they’re selling, such as location, how it was raised, and who the fishermen are that caught it. The members of Globe Fish wake up at 4am and venture out to the docks on the shores of Boston waiting for the unrecognized fishermen to bring them their next batch of fresh fish. Although Globe Fish doesn’t catch their own stuff, they are well-informed and well-educated on every aspect of their product, and get the unnoticed fishermen of Boston known to all that attend the Harvard Farmer’s Market.
