How to Make a Green Smoothie
You can use one of the recipes provided below or you can make up your own. It is as simple as using about 60% fruit and 40% greens, adding some water and blending until smooth. Some people like more vegetables than fruit, find what works for you. If you have a high powered blender it will take about 30 seconds to blend, if you have a regular blender it will take a bit longer. With water, you can always add more depending on desired consistency. Also don’t be afraid to use a different green than what the recipe says, have fun experimenting!
Tip: If you don’t have a high powered blender, such as a Vitamix or Blendtec, remove stalks and stems for easier blending and it will also help not dull your blades.
