It’s not so uncommon to be visited by the chef while at a fine dinner and wine makers dinners are common.  But the  Loews Coronado Bay Resort in California is taking it one step further with “Farmers, Foragers and Fishermen” dinners and celebrating the source by inviting farmers to dine with guests.  It is an effort to showcase them and their passion for sustainable practices. Is this part of  an new trend? Are farmers going to become fashionable? Wouldn’t that be interesting?

Loews Coronado Bay Resort’s “Farmers, Foragers and Fishermen” dinners are just one part of Loews Hotels’ new “Adopt-A-Farmer” program, an initiative supporting independent purveyors located in the surrounding areas of each of its hotels.  So Cool!!
