Harvard is a rural community with few local retailers, so our residents will embrace the opportunity to buy delicious foods here in town while supporting local producers. Because our small town is bustling on the weekends with sporting events and other weekend activities, we feel confident the open-air Market will be filled with people from both Harvard and our neighboring communities.

The Harvard Farmers’ Market will be held on Saturday mornings from a TBD date in August through the end of October from 9am - 12pm, rain or shine, with set-up beginning at 7:30 am. We have secured the half-circle in front of the Elementary School which will make the Market visible and accessible to both vendors and buyers. With its Route 111 location, its proximity to the center of town, and the beautiful views of Bare Hill Pond and the new Library, the location seems ideal!

Stall spaces can be reserved for $125 for the season; however, applicants that respond by in writing by June 1, 2008 will be charged a priority rate of $100. Spaces will be assigned to vendors on a first-come-first-serve basis. Alternatively, farmers may choose to reserve a spot for specific weeks; these weekly spaces can be reserved for $25 per week, space permitting. Last year, the Harvard Farmers Market enjoyed hosting over 25 vendors throughout the season!
